Day270

GIORNO 270

DAY 270

It's midnight and I'm very tired, but I still want to tell you a little bit of my day, so I'll write down some thoughts, and I apologize if I just use the English, but the translation would take up so much more time.
I would refer to today as a "Social Day": I Skype with my family, and it's always very nice and fun to get to talk to every single one of them. Then I prepare myself a lunch, while watching the very good movie "The Chef" on Netflix. The connection even goes down at some point, cause some very strong hail is coming down from the sky as if there was no tomorrow.
Then I bake some biscotti (guess what, tomorrow is a special day, and the special person we'll celebrate happens to love them...), and go out for a Thai dinner with Kathy. I take a curry dish with prawns, and it is good, but very heavy to digest. We talk for so long though, that I give my athletic stomach the time to process it, and I'm fine when I go to bed. I am actually happy to talk with Kathy and listen to her stories: she is right, we ask ourselves what life is, and we have it right there with us, every time we open ourselves and share memories with each other. So thank you for letting me be a part of your life, I love it.
Once we get home, we have company in the living room: a couple of friends of Ann and Gary's, plus Dustin and his parents sitting on the couch. What a nice surprise! They have all just been to the play at school, and they are about to finish their dessert. We talk and talk, and I sit next to Dustin, so that we can engage in our own conversation as we please!
Once everyone leaves, we agree on the time to go to church tomorrow (I hardly ever sleep in, but I might set an alarm for tomorrow, just to make sure to get up on time), and we all go to bed sleepy.
Good night and happy mother's day to all the beautiful mum's that I know!!
