La bella vita a scuola: le mie tre materie di oggi sono Inglese, Matematica e Storia. Ebbene, guardiamo un cartone animato nella prima, il prof è assente e non ci lascia nulla da fare nella seconda, e giochiamo a Dodgeball nella terza.
Che dire, estenuante!

The good life at school: my three subjects today are English, AP calc and History. Well, we watch a cartoon in the first, the teacher is absent and does not leave us anything to do in the second, and we play Dodgeball in the third.
What's there to say, exhausting!

Quando mi sveglio, apro Snapchat, e ricevo questo messaggio da Giulia: grazie davvero, farò tesoro di queste parole in questi ultimi giorni!
When I wake up, I open Snapchat, and receive this message from Giulia: thank you so much, I'll keep these words in my heart in these last days!

Appuntamento giornaliero con Starbucks: oggi rivedo finalmente Kathy, e chiacchieriamo per un buon quarto d'ora. Mi offre anche questa cannuccia di cioccolato, per bere il caffè.
Ora, sapete bene che per la dieta non mi è concessa, quindi non posso dirvi se vale la pena di comprarla o meno, ma l'ho considerato un gesto tanto dolce, che ho voluto immortalarlo con una foto!

My daily appointment with Starbucks: today at last I see Kathy again, and we chat for a good fifteen minutes. She also offers me this chocolate straw to sip coffee.
Now, you know that my diet does not allow me to eat it, so I can not tell you if it is worth buying or not, but I considered this such a sweet gesture, that I wanted to immortalize it with a picture!

Non si finisce mai di essere bambini.
Non solo ho problemi con la salsa degli spaghetti, che come per magia finisce sempre sui miei vestiti prima ancora di entrare in bocca, ma apparentemente riesco anche a sbrodolarmi col caffè.
E indosso una canottiera bianca.
Forse dovrei iniziare a tener in considerazione di portare un bavagliolo in borsa, pronto all'evenienza...

You never stop to be a child.
Not only do I have problems with spaghetti sauce, which magically always ends up on my clothes before even getting into my mouth, but apparently I can stain even with coffee.
And I'm wearing a white tank top.
Maybe I should start to take into account to bring a bib in my bag, ready for anything...

Vado a correre durante l'ora buca, e ci sono 25°C.
Non so come, ma finisco in un vicinato pieno di alberi rigogliosi, i cui fiori emanano un profumo buonissimo (vedi i gelsomini mhmhmhh!!).
Quando arrivo a casa, noto una bella scottatura sulle spalle, con il segno delle spalline della canottiera grrr!

I go running during the off hour, and there are 77°F.
I do not know how, but I end up in a neighborhood full of lush trees, whose flowers give off a great fragrance (like the jasmine mhmhmhh!!).
When I get home, I notice a beautiful sunburn on my shoulders, with the sign of the straps of the tank top grrr!

La mattina, dopo un anno intero di scuola, non sono ancora abituata a svegliarmi presto, e mi muovo soltanto per effetto della routine (ma non essendo particolarmente sveglia e attiva).
Ieri sera mi ero più volte ripetuta: Chiara, ricordati di portare le scarpe da corsa. Ovviamente la mattina tutto è vano.
Ma qui ho imparato che a tutto c'è una soluzione: chiedo alla mia prof di weight lifting se ha un paio di scarpe extra, ed eccole qui, le salvatrici azzurre!

In the morning, even after a full year of school, I am not used to waking up early yet, and I move only under the effect of the routine (but not particularly awake and active).
Last night, I repeated several times to myself: Chiara, remember to bring your running shoes. Obviously in the morning, all is vain.
 But here I learned that there is a solution to everything: I ask my weight lifting teacher if  she has a pair of extras, and here they are, the blue saviors!

Odio prendere il pullman, ma d'altra parte non ho voglia di camminare, quindi eccomi qui mentre ascolto canzoni a caso!
I hate taking the bus, but, on the other hand, I don't wanna walk, so here I am, while I listen to random songs!
