Splendida giornata con Maddalena: dovevo venire in America per trovare una delle persone più belle che conosca. Mi sento fortunata.

Wonderful day with Maddalena: I had to come the the States to find one of the most beautiful person I've ever met. I fell like I was so lucky.

Maddalena è una fotografa, e mi sono incantata a vedere tutti i suoi scatti. Così oggi, camminando con Ann, ho visto questo cielo e non ho potuto fare a meno di fotografarlo. Cosa ne dici Maddi??

Mi sveglio alle 7.10, faccio colazione velocemente perchè farò Skype con mio fratello, poi con i miei genitori, poi con mia sorella. Parliamo in tutto per più di tre ore, ma non c'è niente di più bello che potessi chiedere! Grazie di cuore.
Poi pulisco e riordino la camera, dato che ha raggiunto livelli di disordine abbastanza estremi... La musica di sottofondo mi aiuta a non odiare questa pulizia, e, alla fine, il risultato è apprezzabile: la camera profuma e le cose sono al loro posto (chissà quanto durerà...)
Finisco la mia sciarpa, ed è calda e morbida: non vedo l'ora di indossarla.
Dopodichè vado in ospedale, dove oggi non ci sarà Emily, quindi me la dovrò sbrigare da sola.
Dopo cena arriva Maddalena, che stanotte dormirà qui. Domani trascorreremo la giornata insieme, che sono sicura sarà fantastica.

Ps Ho una sorpresa per tutti i miei compagni di classe: ho contattato il prof di italiano (non voglio fare nomi qui), gli ho chiesto se possiamo fare Skype sabato mattina, e lui ha accettato. Ci vedremo tutti alle vostre 8.30, e mie 00.30-- Chiarina la dormigliona farà lo sforzo di andare a letto tardi per una volta... per un'occasione così speciale! <3 <3



I wake up at 7:10, have breakfast quickly, because I'll Skype with my brother, then with my parents, then with my sister. We talk for more than three hours, but there is nothing more beautiful that I could have asked for! Thank you so much.
Then I clean and tidy up my bedroom, as it has reached a quite extreme level of disorder... The background music helps me not to hate this cleaning up, and, in the end, the result is remarkable: the room smells good and the things are in the right place (who knows how long this will last...)
I finish my scarf, and it is warm and soft: I can not wait to wear it.
Then I go to the hospital, today Emily will not be there, so I will have to do everything by myself.
After dinner Maddalena comes: she will sleep here tonight. Tomorrow we will spend the day together, and I'm sure it will be fantastic.

Ps I have a surprise for all my classmates: I contacted the Italian teacher (I will not mention names here), I asked him if we can Skype on Saturday morning, and he agreed. I'll meet you all at your 8.30 am, and my 00.30-- Chiarina the sleeper will make the effort to go to bed late for once... for such a special occasion! <3 <3
