Chiedo un minuto di silenzio: oggi è un giorno triste, perchè è il 29 aprile, e manca solo un mese prima della mia partenza. Qui c'è il mio cuore, è il mio posto perfetto, il posto dove ho trovato me stessa, dove ho incontrato solo bellissime persone, dove ho provato fortissimi emozioni, e non posso pensare che ho solo trenta giorni rimasti qui.

Se volevo evitare di piangere, purtroppo non ce l'ho fatta.

Aiuto.

I ask for a minute of silence: today is a sad day, because it is April 29, only one month before my departure. Appena mi sveglio, guardo fuori dalla finestra, e questa neve mi suggerisce: è venerdì, fa freddo, ed è presto --> tuta!

Avendo già fatto il test di anatomia che il resto della classe deve fare oggi, la prof mi scrive un pass per andare in biblioteca, dove una Chiara molto produttiva di addormenta sui divanetti, mentre pensa al Prom...

E poi la parte più bella della giornata inizia con Kylie e Riley. Prima tappa: Starbucks!
And then, the best part of the day starts with Kylie and Riley. First stop: Starbucks!

Seconda tappa: ci facciamo fare le unghie. Riley ed io scegliamo le French, applicando unghie finte. E' la prima volta in assoluto per me, e la sensazione è davvero strana, ma mi diverto ad assistere, e a chiacchierare con le ragazze nel frattempo. E' uno sfizio che ci togliamo e che mi godo al massimo!

Second stop: we go get our nails done. Riley and I chose the French, applying artificial nails. It 's the first time ever for me, and the feeling is really strange, but I have fun watching, and chatting with the girls in the meantime. It's a present that we give ourselves and I enjoy it to the fullest!

Andiamo a mangiare da PJ's, ristorante vicino ma che non avevo ancora mai provato (ottima scelta ragazze), e poi torniamo da Starbucks giusto per chiacchierare.
Grazie di tutto: unirmi alla squadra di tennis è stata la decisione migliore di questo anno, perchè non solo ho imparato un nuovo sport, ma ho conosciuto voi. Vi voglio tanto bene!!

We go eat at PJ's, a nearby restaurant that I had not tried yet (good choice girls), and then we go back to Starbucks just to hangout.
Thanks for everything: joining the tennis team was the best decision of this year, because not only did I learn a new sport, but I got to know you. I love you so much!!

Dopo la stancante ora di sollevamento pesi, chiedo ad Angelique di fare una foto insieme, e sapete perchè? Perchè questa ragazza amichevole, dolce, energetica, piena di spirito sia a scuola che nello sport, sensibile e chi più ne ha più ne metta, è nella Prom Court e merita di vincere!! Senior: se state leggendo, sapete chi votare!!

After the tiring weight lifting class, I ask Angelique to take a pic together, and you know why? Because this friendly, sweet, energetic, full of school and sport spirit, sensitive girl, is on the Prom Court and she deserves to win!! Seniors: if you're reading, you know who to vote for!!

Le mie amiche hanno prenotato l'appuntamento per le unghie, quindi ora non posso che andare-non ci sono scuse!!
My friends book an appointment for the nails, so now I have to go-no excuses!!

E oggi mi va così: torno a casa, faccio il blog su una scrivania alta, così non mi siedo, ma metto la musica alta e ballo mentre scrivo. Bam.

La giornata inizia con una Chiara spaventata quando legge un messaggio di suo fratello, che alcune volte sa essere proprio ciula: grazie Teo, ci voleva!

Nell'ora buca, vado a correre per cinquanta minuti e mi sento proprio bene quando finisco. Poi abbiamo una partita di tennis, che però viene cancellata perchè inizia a piovere.

Poi mi chiama Valentina e parliamo per una buona ora, passandola praticamente a dirci le novità e ridendo!!

Mi ridipingo le unghie perchè si sono rovinate alle estremità, e mi rilasso sul divano dopo cena guardando The Voice, ed è il momento più bello della giornata!!

The day starts with a scared Chiara, when she reads a text from her brother, who sometimes knows to be right very silly: thank you Teo, I really needed it!

During the off hour, I go running for fifty minutes and I feel so well when I'm done. Then we have a tennis game, but it gets canceled because it starts to rain.

Then Valentina calls me and we talk for a good hour, practically spending it telling us the news and laughing!!

I repaint my nails because they are chipped at the ends, and I relax on the couch after dinner watching The Voice, and this is the best moment of the day!!
