Premio classe più divertente della giornata: tedesco. Oggi passiamo 47 minuti di lezione a cantare questa canzoncina, battendo le mani a ritmo. Si chiama "Bache Bache Kuchen", e posso solo dire di dedicare 1 minuto della vostra vita per ascoltarla. Se lo fate, cercate di immaginare il contesto: scuola superiore, lunedì mattina. Dovrebbe essere abbastanza.

Award for the most fun class of the day: German. Today we spend the 47 minutes class to sing this song, clapping our hands to the beat. It's called "Bache Bache Kuchen", and I can only suggest you devote one minute of your life to listen to it. If you do it, try to imagine the context: high school, Monday morning. That's all.

Studiando a Starbucks e persa nei compiti di Calculus, si uniscono a me queste bellissime persone e... ciao ciao compiti!
Studying in Starbucks and lost in my Calculus homework, these two cuties join me and... bye bye assignment! 

Nel pomeriggio, camminata corsa nei campi, dato che il sole splende, ci sono circa 20 °C, e ho bisogno di staccare un po': è stato un lungo lunedì, e sono contenta che sia sera e si stia concludendo!

In the afternoon, I go for a walk and run in the fields, since the sun is shining, there are about 70°F, and I need to blow off steam: it was a long Monday and I'm glad it's evening and it's ending!

Day81

GIORNO 81

Oggi è finalmente Halloween! 
Dopo un lungo Skype con i miei genitori, la mia Francina e il mio fratellone, pranziamo (mangio solo un'insalata mista perchè voglio aver fame per cena -- Briana cucinerà il chili, che è uno dei miei piatti preferiti qui in America!!!) e poi scaviamo le zucche: io decido di intagliare una specie di pipistrello e, nonostante il coltellino mi si spezzi fra le mani a metà dell'opera, sono contenta del mio risultato. 
E' la prima volta che scavo una zucca per Halloween, ma penso proprio che non sarà l'ultima, perchè mi diverto molto.
Poi andiamo da Briana, Elora, Shane e Justin, dove ceniamo e assistiamo alla "pittura" dei capelli di Shane: sceglie i colori rosso e blu ed è proprio "sul pezzo"! Posto il video qui sotto, e si può vedere solo tramite computer!
Poi usciamo per il Trick or Treat e suoniamo a tutte le case del vicinato che hanno lasciato accese le luci nel porticato (è il segnale che indica che i padroni di casa sono disponibili a distribuire caramelle). Raccogliamo così tanti dolci che, alla fine del percorso, la borsa è quasi fin troppo pesante! 
Lascio tutto il mio bottino ad Ann e Gary, perchè, ad essere sincera, questo tipo di dolci non mi piace molto, ma li ringrazio perchè questo è stato il mio primo Halloween e non potevo chiedere di meglio!!!

DAY 81

Today is finally Halloween! 
After a long Skype with my parents, my Francina and my brother, we have lunch (I only eat a salad because I want to be hungry for dinner - Briana will cook chili, which is one of my favorite dishes here in America!!!) and then we carve pumpkins: I decide to carve a species of bat and, despite the little knife will break in my hands when I'm almost done, I'm happy with my result. 
It's the first time I scarve a pumpkin for Halloween, but I'm pretty sure it'll not be the last one, since I really enjoyed it.
Then we go to Briana, Elora, Shane and Justin's, where we have dinner and we see  Briana painting Shane's hair: he chooses red and blue, and he is funny! I'll post the video below, and you can watch it only through your computer!
Then we go out for trick or treat and we ring all the doorbells in the neighborhood where there's light on the porch (this is the signal which indicates that the people are willing to hand out candy). We collect so many sweets that, at the end of the night, the bag is almost too heavy!
I give all my booty to Ann and Gary, because, to be honest, I don't really like this kind of sweets, but I thank them because this was my first Halloween and I could not ask for anything better!!!

GIORNO 79

Scuola, "shopping" al supermercato (shampoo, caramelle da distribuire ad halloween e mochaccino, che però è troppo dolce) e poi Loveland School per festeggiare halloween con i bambini della scuola elementare.

DAY 79

School, "shopping" at the grocery store (shampoo, candies to distribute at halloween and mochaccino, but it is too sweet) and then we go to Loveland School to celebrate halloween with elementary school children.

GIORNO 41

Nell'ora di inglese facciamo un gioco su alcune parole che dobbiamo studiare per il test di vocabolario di domani, e mi capita di vincerlo, quindi ricevo tre caramelle come premio e sono molto divertita. Nell'ultima ora, invece, abbiamo il primo laboratorio di anatomia-istologia (osserviamo cellule di diversi tessuti) e sono entusiasta di questo!
Poi ho cross country, con le foto di gruppo (dobbiamo indossare una lunga divisa nera e soffriamo un sacco il caldo).
Per cena siamo ospiti di amici di Ann e Gary: mangiamo all'aperto e trascorriamo una bellissima serata tutti insieme!

P.s. Sara ed Erica, grazie di cuore per avermi scritto, aggiornata e divertita, oggi, con i vostri messaggi. Sono piccole cose che però significano tantissimo per me. 
Un abbraccio forte forte forte, anche se da molto molto lontano, vi voglio bene!!! <3 <3

DAY 41

In the English lesson we do a game on some words that we have to study for the vocabulary test that we'll have tomorrow, and I happen to win, so I get three candies as a reward and I think it's very fun. In the last hour, we have the first anatomy-histology lab (we observe cells of various tissues) and I'm excited about this!
Then I have cross country, we take group photos (we have to wear a long black uniform and we suffer a lot from the heat!!).
For dinner we are guests of friends of Ann and Gary: we eat outdoors and have a wonderful evening all together!
