Primavera significa anche jeans a vita alta, maglioncino più leggero e tanti sorrisi!

Progetto 3D per la classe di calculus: Nicole, compagna di classe e di tennis, viene a casa nostra dopo l'allenamento e, dopo 2 ore di duro lavoro, concludiamo il progetto!
3D project for the calculus class: Nicole, classmate and tennis player, comes to our house after practice and, after two hours of intense work, we complete our project!

Oggi è l'ultimo giorno di dissezione del gatto: tiriamo tutti un sospiro di sollievo, perchè non è sempre stato facile prendere in mano il bisturi e tagliare per un'ora e mezza pelle, muscoli, organi. Ma sono stata in un gruppo bellissimo, e ho potuto osservare dal vivo tutto quello che studiavamo in classe, e non ha prezzo.

Grazie America, ricorderò tutto quello che ho visto e toccato, e sarò sempre grata per averlo potuto fare durante la scuola superiore.

Today is the last day of cat dissection: we all pull a sigh of relief, because it was not always easy to pick up the scalpel and cut for an hour and a half skin, muscles, organs. But I was in a wonderful group, and I could observe everything we studied in class, and this is just priceless.

Thanks America, I will always remember everything I've seen and touched, and I will always be grateful for having been able to do this in high school.

Justin and Elora wake up very early, even if they'll go to school later, and they pose like a boss while I'm about to go out. The day starts with a smile!

Ceniamo con Will e poi giochiamo a carte: Ann vince tutte le mani, come è possibile? Un po' di bravura c'è sicuramente, ma siamo tutti impressionati dalla incredibile fortuna che sembra sempre giocare dalla sua parte... Ma devo ammettere che ci divertiamo tanto insieme, e questo è quello che conta di più!

Poi guardiamo il primo episodio della seconda stagione di "Better Call Saul" -- spin off di Breaking Bad -- e poi nanna.

We have dinner with Will and then play cards: Ann wins every hand, how is it possible? A little bit of skill is definitely there, but we are all impressed by the incredible luck that always seems to play on her side... But I have to admit that we have a lot of fun together, and that's what counts the most!

Then we watch the first episode of the second season of "Better Call Saul" - the Breaking Bad spin off - and then go to sleep.

Oggi vi spiego come ho invitato un ragazzo al prossimo ballo della scuola...

Today I will explain you how I invited a guy to the next school dance...

Tutto è iniziato ieri sera, quando ho trovato il coraggio, che cercavo da tanto, per invitare Matt, un amico specials che ho conosciuto subito, all'inizio dell'esperienza. Nel primo semestre abbiamo avuto le classi di inglese e modern america insieme, e siamo anche entrambi nello Student council, mentre in questo nuovo semestre siamo nella stessa classe di modern america e abbiamo la stessa ora buca alla fine della giornata. Ci siamo conosciuti di più in questi ultimi mesi, e ho sempre apprezzato i momenti che abbiamo passato insieme, ridendo e scherzando. Sarà una serata bellissima, lo so già!
It all started last night, when I finally found the courage to invite Matt, a special friend that I met right at the beginning of the experience. In the first semester, we had the English and modern america classes together, and we are both in the Student council, while in this new semester we are in the same modern America class and we have the same off hour at the end of the day. We got to know each other more in these past months, and I have always enjoyed the moments we spent together, laughing and joking. It will be a beautiful evening, I already know!

Durante l'ora di modern america, partecipiamo ad un progetto al computer (siamo nello stesso gruppo), e ad un certo punto mi allontano dal laboratorio, torno in classe, apro una tasca laterale del suo zaino, e ci infilo il pacchetto che ho preparato per lui. Dopodichè torno al computer come se niente fosse. Quando l'ora finisce, faccio il test di anatomia (che fra l'altro va molto bene - 75/60, guadagno i punti extra - e sono soddisfatta), e poi vado da Starbucks, da dove gli mando questo snapchat.
E la sua risposta è... "Of course I'll go with you!"
During the modern America class, we participate in a computer project (we are in the same group), and at some point I walk away from the lab, go back to class, open a side pocket of his backpack, and there I put the package I prepared for him. Then I go back to the computer as if nothing happened. When the hour is over, I do the anatomy test (which is very good - 75/60, getting the extra points - and I'm satisfied), and then I go to Starbucks, from where I send him this Snapchat.
His answer is... "Of course I'll go with you!"

Per cena, Gary prepara un petto di pollo buonissimo, insieme a riso, quinoa e carote, e vediamo Will di nuovo, dopo tante settimane. Dopo mangiato, Barbara ed io andiamo a fare una lunga passeggiata, durante la quale chiacchieriamo di tutte le belle cose che sono successe durante la giornata. Poi arriva Ann, con Justin ed Elora, che dormiranno qui stanotte. Justin costruisce un tavolo di carta e mi chiede: "Se riesco a finirlo, posso essere il boss?". Ebbene sì Justin, una volta che vedo l'opera completa, te lo devo proprio concedere: "Congratulazioni boss!!"

For dinner, Gary prepares a delicious chicken breast, along with rice, quinoa and carrots, and we see Will again, after so many weeks. After dinner, Barbara and I take a long walk, during which we talk of all the good things that happened during the day. Then Ann gets home with Justin and Elora, who will sleep here tonight. Justin builds a paper table and asks me: "If I can finish it, I can be the boss?". Yes Justin, once I see the complete work, I really have to give you this: "Congratulations boss!!"

Bentornato Gary, ci mancava l'uomo di casa!

Welcome back Gary, we missed the man of the house!

Faccio il mio primo allenamento di tennis.
Sono davvero davvero davvero contenta per l'ambiente in cui mi allenerò da qui alla fine della scuola: le ragazze della squadra sono tutte carine e gentili, e sono grata per questo, ma la differenza è fatta dagli allenatori, che sono uno più dolce e disponibile dell'altro. Sono anche sollevata perchè non sono l'unica principiante, ma insieme a me ci sono altre quattro ragazze: oggi impariamo le basi, e colpiamo la palla per circa due ore. Fa molto freddo perchè tira un bel vento, ma per fortuna ho la felpa, e mi allaccio il cappuccio attorno alla testa, rendendomi apparentemente divertente/ridicola, tanto che l'allenatore mi guarda e mi dice: "Mhmh, sembra proprio che tu ti stia divertendo qui fuori!".
Non vedo già l'ora di domani!!!

I go to my first tennis practice.
I'm really really really happy for the environment in which I will train from now until the end of the school: the girls of the team are all nice and kind, and I am grateful for this, but the difference is made by the coaches, who are really sweet and helpful. I am also relieved, because I am not the only beginner, but there are four other girls with me: today we learn the basics, and we hit the ball for about two hours. It is very cold because because of the wind, but fortunately I have a sweatshirt, and I tie the hood around his head, making me seem funny/ridiculous, so that the coach looks at me and tells me: "Mhmh, it just seems like you're having fun out here!"
I'm already looking forward to tomorrow!!!

Quando finisce l'allenamento, cammino verso Starbucks, dove mi prendo un Chai Tea: sono così congelata che mi ci vogliono dieci minuti buoni prima che riesca a muovere le dita di nuovo. Sorseggiare questo the, che fra l'altro non avevo mai comprato, è un piacere.
E, a proposito di Starbucks, sia il mio amico Cedric che Dana pubblicano sul mio profilo Facebook un articolo molto interessante: Starbucks aprirà il primo negozio in Italia, scegliendo proprio Milano come prima città. Lavorarci? Ci farei un pensierino!

When the practice ends, I walk to Starbucks, where I take a Chai Tea: I am so frozen that it takes me a good ten minutes before he can move my fingers again. Sipping this tea, which, among other things, I had never bought before, is a pleasure.And, speaking of Starbucks, both my friend Cedric and Dana publish on my Facebook profile a very interesting article: Starbucks will open its first store in Italy, choosing Milan as first city.

Durante l'ora di sollevamento pesi, oggi il programma è tutto concentrato sulla forza, e non sulla resistenza, così aggiungiamo molti pesi al normale workout.

Tutto fila liscio finchè faccio la panca piana: dopo qualche ripetizione, non riesco più a sollevare la barra e Angelique mi soccorre.

So su cosa mi devo concentrare di più...

During the weight lifting class, today the program is mainly focused on the strength, and not resistance, so we add a lot of weight to the usual workout.

Everything is fine until I do the bench press: after some repetition, I can no longer raise the bar and Angelique succors me.

I know what I have to concentrate on more...

Barbara ed io andiamo fuori per cena, festeggiando la sua prima lezione di teatro in vista del musical, e il mio primo allenamento di tennis. Andiamo al ristorante asiatico, e trascorriamo una bella ora e mezza insieme!

Barbara and I go out for dinner, celebrating her first theater lecture for the musical, and my first tennis practice. We go to the Asian restaurant, and we spend a good hour and a half together!

Questa è la prima foto che vedo stamattina quando accendo il telefono: Haakon, il mio amico norvegese, me l'ha mandata (grazie, mi hai regalato un bel risveglio!) in ricordo dei bei momenti che abbiamo passato insieme alle Hawaii. Sembriamo un po' pazzi, ma d'altra parte era questo l'obiettivo della vacanza!
This is the first picture that I saw this morning when I turned on my cell phone: Haakon, my Norwegian friend, sent it to me (thank you, you gave me a good awakening!) in memory of the good times we spent together in Hawaii. We seem a little bit crazy, but this was exactly the aim of the holiday!

Questa mattina vado a correre per 45 minuti, perchè mi perdo: Ann mi ha consigliato di provare ad andare nel vicinato di fronte al nostro, e io ero entusiasta di cambiare un po' la routine, così ieri mi ha fatto vedere dove attraversare e mi ha spiegato la strada da seguire.
Peccato che una Chiara un po' addormentata alle 8.30 della mattina e con scarso senso dell'orientamento, finirà per perdersi e girare attorno allo stesso percorso per mezz'ora.
Che donna -- tutta suo padre...
This morning I go running for 45 minutes, because I get lost: Ann suggested that I should try to go in the neighborhood in front of ours, and I was excited to change my routine, so yesterday she showed me where to cross the road and explained the path to follow.
Too bad that a little sleepy Chiara at 8:30 in the morning and with a little sense of direction, will eventually get lost and run around the same path for half an hour.
What a woman -- just like her daddy...

Dopo questa avventura, torno a casa, faccio una doccia ed esco di nuovo insieme ad Ann, per una lunga passeggiata (circa 1 ora), durante la quale è bello guardarci attorno e chiacchierare.

Mi sembra di essere in vacanza in montagna!

Verso la fine, ci fermiamo per una chiacchierata a casa di suoi cari amici. Poi torniamo indietro e usciamo di nuovo con Barbara!

After this adventure, I come home, take a shower and go out again with Ann, for a long walk (about 1 hour), during which it's nice to look around and chat.

I seem to be on vacation in the mountains!

Towards the end, we stop for a chat at her dear friends' house. Then we go back and go out again with Barbara!

Contenta di andare da Starbucks con Barbara ed Ann e di andare a far la spesa, comprando gli ingredienti per cantucci e tiramisu! Particolarmente piacevole è il sole che splende e la temperatura attorno ai 20°C: che paradiso...
Happy to go to Starbucks with Barbara and Ann and go out shopping, buying the ingredients for biscotti and tiramisu! Especially nice is the sun shining and the temperature around 70°F: what a paradise...

Tiramisu -- too bad the 45 minutes in the car "kill" it: it's outside the refrigerator and it's all bouncy, so that the egg whites loose the air and softness, becoming kinda liquid. I did it for Shane, because I know how much he loves it, and I worked on it for 2 hours in the afternoon, so I'm kinda disappointed when I see how it transformed after the car driving, but I can only say that I'll learn from the experience...

Questa sera andiamo da Briana, dove ceniamo e seguiamo gli Oscar: non ho visto nemmeno uno dei film candidati, ma compilo comunque il foglio delle "scommesse" su quale vincerà ciascuna categoria. Peccato che lo show sia davvero noioso e ripetitivo, ma grazie Briana e Shane per la vostro ospitalità e divertente compagnia!
This evening, we go to Briana's, where we have dinner and follow the Oscars: I have not seen even one of the nominated movies, but anyway I fill "betting" sheets on which one will win each category. Too bad the show is really boring and repetitive, but thanks Briana and Shane for your hospitality and fun company!

Questa sera vado a letto pensando e ripensando a domani, perchè inizierò lo sport primaverile, con un sorpresa: non si tratta di atletica (correre non mi piace proprio, e non voglio passare gli ultimi tre mesi qui in America praticando tutti i giorni uno sport che sarebbe soltanto un peso per me), ma sarà... tennis! Sono molto esaltata perchè è completamente nuovo per me, ma proprio per questo non vedo l'ora di iniziare e scoprire come saranno la squadra e l'allenatore, partecipare alle mie prime partite, allenarmi all'aperto, sfidare Gary -- o forse no, siamo su livelli troppo alti in questo caso!

Buona notte e non vedo l'ora di scrivere domani per farvi sapere come sarà andata!!

This evening, I go to bed thinking and thinking about tomorrow, because I will start the spring sport I chose, with a surprise: it'll not be track (I do not like running, and I do not want to spend my last three months here in America, every day practicing a sport that would only be a burden to me), but it will be... tennis! I'm very excited because it's completely new to me, but because of this I can not wait to get started and find out how the team and the coach will be, take part in my first games, train outdoors, challenge Gary -- or maybe not , we are of too high levels in this case!

200 giorni in America: l'unica cosa che cambierei di questa foto sarebbe aggiungere una faccia triste. Perchè se è vero che le mani alzate al cielo sono per tutte le incredibili avventure che ho vissuto finora, è anche vero che non posso tornare indietro, e se guardo avanti, mancano soltanto tre mesi...
Sono triste, perchè sono così felice qui, che non me ne andrei mai.
200 days in the US: the only thing I would change of this picture would be to add a sad face. Because, if it is true that hands raised to the sky stand for all the amazing adventures that I have lived so far, it is also true that  a sad face means that I can not go back, and if I look ahead, I only have three more months left...
I am sad, because I'm so happy here that I would never leave.

Come iniziare il duecentesimo giorno? Correndo e arrivando distrutta alla porta di casa pensando: almeno ce l'ho fatta!
How should I start the two hundredth day? Running and getting destroyed at the front door, thinking to myself: well, at least I did it!

Ann porta me e Maddalena a Denver, mentre lei va in giro per la città (più tardi la incontreremo in un posto che piace a tutte e tre, la storica libreria di Denver), visita una galleria d'arte e va a vedere il torneo al quale partecipa la squadra che allena Will. Maddalena ed io, nel frattempo, trascorriamo una bellissima giornata insieme, raccontandoci tutto quello che è successo in queste ultime settimane, il tutto parlando esclusivamente inglese.
Cosa dire, se non che è proprio la mia persona?

Ann takes Maddalena and me to Denver, while she goes around the city (we'll later meet her in a place that all the three of us love, the historic library in Denver), visits an art gallery and goes to see the tournament in which Will's team participate. Maddalena and I, in the meantime, spend a beautiful day together, telling each other everything that has happened in recent weeks, while speaking exclusively English.
What can I say, except that she is my person?

Mentre siamo da Starbucks, iniziamo una lunga conversazione (più di due ore) con un ragazzo universitario molto gentile e simpatico che è seduto al banco vicino a noi!

Per cena, andiamo al ristorante messicano con Briana e Shane: sono una coppia divertente, e mi diverto sempre quando siamo con loro!

Ho scoperto che Shane "massacra" la cannuccia e si emoziona per un buon piatto proprio come faccio io, mentre Briana sgranocchia il ghiaccio esattamente come me.

Domani li rivediamo ancora, chissà cos'altro scoprirò!

For dinner, we go to the Mexican restaurant with Briana and Shane: they are a funny couple, and I always enjoy when they are with us!

I found out that Shane "tortures" the straw and gets excited for a good dish just like I do, while Briana crunches ice cubes just like I do.

Tomorrow we'll meet again, who knows what else I will find out!

...E poi andiamo da Target, a comprare il disinfettante per l'unghia di Barbara. E' divertente trasportarla in giro e far ridere tutti quelli che ci passano di fianco: un ragazzo di avvicina e dice: "Hey, this one right here is the way to live!"
...And then we go to Target to buy a disinfectant for Barbara's nail. It's fun to carry her around and make people who pass next to us laugh: a guy comes closer and says: "Hey, this one right here is the way to live!"

Dormo fino alle 9, e vado a correre a digiuno per mezz'oretta. C'è il sole e nessuna macchina passa per la strada (sono tutti al lavoro, d'altra parte è venerdì mattina...) e riesco a sopportare la fatica cento volte meglio. Operazione "Perdita chili accumulati in inverno" iniziata!
I sleep until 9 o'clock, and I go running on an empty stomach for half an hour. It's sunny and not a single car crosses the street (they are all at work, it's Friday morning...) and I am therefore able to bear the effort a hundred times better.
Operation "Loosing the pounds I accumulated over winter" started!

Per colazione, preparo questo smoothie con broccoli, insalata, sedano e kiwi. Non posso dire che sia buonissimo, però non è per niente dolce, cosa che lo rende bevibile!
For breakfast, I prepare this smoothie with broccoli, lettuce, celery and kiwi. I can not say that it is very good, but it is not sweet at all, and this fact makes it drinkable!

Sono a casa da sola, perchè Ann va ad una lezione in università (da quello che ho capito, oggi avrebbero visitato una scuola), mentre Barbara è da Briana.Così me la prendo con comodo: studio per il test di anatomia, lavo i piatti e le pentole che si sono accumulate nel lavandino durante la settimana, carico e faccio partire la lavastoviglie e... cucino!

I'm at home alone, since Ann goes to a college lesson (from what I understood, today they were gonna visit a school), while Barbara is at Briana's.
So I take it easy: I study for the anatomy test, wash the dishes and pots that have accumulated in the sink during the week, start loading the dishwasher and... cook!

E' molto gratificante vedere Elora, Briana e Ann "litigare" su quanti biscotti possa Briana portare a casa e quanti invece possa tenere qui Ann.

Il momento migliore per me arriva quando Ann dice che i cantucci per lei sono preziosi, e che se li vuole nascondere e razionare il più possibile. Briana mi sussurra che, prima di lasciare il Colorado, dovrò prepararne una generosa scorta per tutti!

Mi sembra di riconoscere qualcuno... Oh aspetta, so chi è: mia mamma con i canestrelli!

It is very rewarding to see Elora, Briana and Ann "arguing" about how many biscotti Briana can take home and how many Ann should keep here.

The best moment for me comes when Ann says that biscotti are precious to her, and that she wants to hide and ration them as much as possible. Briana whispers to me that, before leaving Colorado, I will have to prepare a generous stock for everyone!

I feel like I recognize someon ... Oh wait, I know who it is: my mom with another kind of biscotti!

Mi sbilancio: preparo anche patatine fritte e carbonara per cena. Mando un messaggio ad Ann per chiederle se le vada bene, e lei mi risponde dicendo che le sue amiche sono gelose: lo prendo per un sì!
I want to do more: I prepare french fries and carbonara for dinner. I send a text to Ann to ask her if she is ok with this, and she replies by saying that her classmates are jealous: I take that as a yes!

Nel pomeriggio vado a fare una passeggiata nei campi con Ann, mentre ci raccontiamo avventure passate, guardiamo il paesaggio e il sole tramontare.

In the afternoon, I go for a walk in the fields with Ann, while we tell each other past adventures, we look at the landscape and at the sun while it's setting.

Dopo cena andiamo con Bri, Justin ed Elora a prendere uno jogurt con frutta, servito da un cassiere molto carino!
After dinner, we go with Bri, Justin and Elora to take a frozen yogurt with fruit, served by a very cute cashier!

Sono molto stanca ma super contenta per questa giornata in cucina: buona notte!

Premessa

Sono abbastanza rimbambita (sto perdendo la testa?!): ho scoperto di aver promesso a quattro persone diverse di fare Skype questa mattina, e per di più alla stessa ora. Ho dovuto dare la priorità alle due amiche che non vedevo da più tempo, ma sono orgogliosa di me per riuscire, in un modo o nell'altro, a parlare anche con le altre (i miei fratelli e Margherita). Urrà!

Premise

I am pretty forgetful (loosing my mind?!): I discovered that I had promised to four different people to Skype with this morning, and, in addition, at the same time. I had to give priority to the two friends I had not seen for the longer time, but I'm proud of myself because I'm able, in one way or another, to talk also with the others (my siblings and Margherita). Hooray!

Mi sveglio abbastanza presto e faccio Skype con Sara e Chiara, mentre mangio un orribile oatmeal (non ho messo lo zucchero, e sembra cibo per uccelli...)!
I wake up early enough and I Skype with Sara and Chiara, while eating a horrible oatmeal (I did not put sugar, and it tastes like birds food ...)!

Ann va a dipingere (fra l'altro sta riproducendo un castello sul lago di Varese, e l'opera è quasi completa: sembra fatta da un professionista, che dire--- complimenti!), e mi lascia in piscina: mi mancava tanto nuotare!
Ann goes to paint (among others, she's reproducing a castle in Lake Varese in Italy, and the work is almost complete: it seems like it was made by a professional, what can I say... congratulations!), and she leaves me in the pool: I missed swimming so much!

Vado al Coffee Tree a studiare e finire qualche compito.
Due signore sono sedute al bancone dietro di me, e una di loro (che più tardi scoprirò chiamarsi Kathy) sta raccontando all'altra (Carla) del programma per il suo viaggio in Italia di questa estate. Decido così di avvicinarmi e dico "Hey, I'm from Italy!". Inizia così una conversazione lunga 45 minuti, durante la quale mi chiedono consigli, impressioni, abitudini ecc. Ad un certo punto devo allontanarmi, perchè devo fare Skype con i miei fratelli, ma è stato interessante parlare con loro. E' questa un'abitudine che voglio sicuramente portare in Italia con me: andare in un bar, prendersi un caffè, guardarsi attorno ed iniziare una conversazione con estranei, con i quali ci si arricchirà a vicenda!

I go to the Coffee Tree to study and finish some homework.
Two ladies are sitting at the counter behind me, and one of them (who, as I'll later find out, is called Kathy) is telling to the other one (Carla) about the program for her trip to Italy this summer. So I decide to go around them and say "Hey, I'm from Italy!". This way, a long conversation of about 45 minutes starts, during which they ask me for advice, impressions, habits and so on. At some point I have to go away, because I'll Skype with my siblings, but it was interesting to talk to them. And this is a habit that I definitely want to bring back to Italy with me: go to a cafe, have a coffee, look around and start a conversation with strangers, with whom we'll enrich each other for sure!

I'm sure that time will fool with me for writing this sentence on the blog, but I don't mind, because this is what I think to myself. They always make me happy and feel closer to them: thank you!

Briana, Ann ed io andiamo a mangiare da Qdoba! Sono particolarmente soddisfatta, perchè di solito le porzioni sono molto grosse qui, e trovo quindi un buon compromesso, ordinando un tacos singolo (metterò una foto qui sotto, perchè nemmeno io, prima di venire in America, sapevo cosa un tacos fosse!).
Briana, Ann and I have lunch at Qdoba! I am particularly pleased, because usually the portions are very big here, but I find a good compromise, ordering a single tacos (I'll put a picture below for the Italians, because even I, before coming to America, did not know what a taco was!).

Nel pomeriggio, non avendo nient'altro in programma, andiamo tutte insieme a fare shopping (Briana, Barbara, Ann ed io) a Centerra. Lasciamo Ann in libreria, dove si ferma a leggere bevendo un cafè, mentre noi tre sorelle andiamo per negozi. Io compro questi orecchini molto luccicanti, per cambiare un po' le abitudini, e li indosso appena esco dal negozio: brillano molto, ma mi piacciono molto! Che bel pomeriggio.
In the afternoon, since we have nothing scheduled, we go shopping all together (Briana, Barbara, Ann and I) in Centerra. We leave Ann at the library, where she'll read while drinking a coffee, while we three sisters go browsing (and buying). I buy these very sparkly earrings, to change my usual habits, and I wear them as soon as I get out of the store: they shine a lot, but I like them a lot! What a fun afternoon.

Barbara va a dormire da Briana, mentre io resto a casa con Ann: non siamo super affamate, ma so che a lei piacciono molto i popcorn, quindi mi offro di prepararglieli. Premesso che non è per niente difficile, riesco comunque a bruciarli, e a bruciare anche i fagiolini che stavo cuocendo nella pentola di fianco. 

....Mhm, dovrei essere l'esperta in cucina...

Alla fine sistemo tutto, e i risultati sono soddisfacenti.

E' giovedì sera, quindi ci mettiamo sul divano e guardiamo Grey's Anatomy e Scandal (serie che Ann e Gary seguono, creata dalla stessa regista, Shonda Rhimes). Mi piace tanto stare con lei...

Barbara will spend the night at Briana's, while I stay at home with Ann: we are not super hungry, but I know that she really likes popcorn, so I volunteer to prepare them for her. Given that it is not hard at all to make them, I still burn them, and I also burn the beans I am cooking in the next pot.

... Well, I should be the expert in the kitchen...

 Eventually I arrange everything, and the results are satisfactory.

It's thursday night, so we sit on the couch and watch Grey's Anatomy and Scandal (series that Ann and Gary follow, created by the same director, Shonda Rhimes).

I love to be with her...
